Empire Estimators is a professional estimating firm that writes estimates for restoration construction projects for insurance claims using Xactimate® estimating software. As a participant in the Empire Club Membership program, you are entitled to receive specific benefits and pricing for estimate preparation by Empire Estimators.
Empire Estimators will prepare a line item estimate for any restoration project submitted. The estimate prepared by Empire Estimators will be based upon your scope of work comprising photographs, Matterport® scans, videos, diagrams, measurements, roof reports, moisture readings, aerial imagery, and any other relevant scope of work information customarily provided to estimate the cost associated with a restoration project.
You may use the estimate prepared by Empire Estimators to bill insurance companies for your restoration services, or for any other agreed upon purposes.
As an active participant in good standing, You receive the following benefits:
Empire Estimators charges a fee for their estimating services based upon the dollar value of your project, which is determined after Empire Estimators completes the estimate. All clients pays Empire Estimators a minimum fee, which is a non-refundable deposit, to start the estimating process for each project. For any estimate, an additional deposit of up to 75% of Empire Estimators’ anticipated final bill may be required prior to releasing the estimate.
A full pricing breakdown including all terms and conditions is provided to all our clients in our service/membership agreement before they sign up for our services.
Next Day Turnaround is 1% of the estimated project amount with a $50 minimum non-refundable deposit due prior to commencing estimating services.
Same Day Turnaround is 1.5% of the estimated project amount with a $150 minimum non-refundable deposit due prior to commencing estimating services
Next Day Turnaround is 2% of the estimated project amount with a $200 minimum non-refundable deposit due prior to commencing estimating services.
Same Day Turnaround is 3% of the estimated project amount with a $300 minimum non-refundable deposit due prior to commencing estimating services.
A supplemental service is a new estimate that is written to supplement or modify an existing estimate by adding or reducing scope, adding or omitted line items, and other activities that increase or decrease the dollar value of the estimate. For a project to qualify as a supplement, the Client must provide Empire Estimators with a completed estimate to rewrite. Empire Estimators charges a minimum fee, as provided below, plus the applicable percentage on the supplement amount. If the supplement rewrite includes more than 100 line items, then an additional line item fee will apply, which is detailed in the Service Fee Notes.
Next Day Turnaround: $50 minimum + 1% of the supplement
Same Day Turnaround: $150 minimum + 1.5% of the supplement
Next Day Turnaround: $200 minimum + 2% of the supplement
Same Day Turnaround: $300 minimum + 3% of the supplement
If the supplement contains more than 100 line items, then each additional line above 100 lines will be charged as follows:

Q: Is there a charge for revisions?
No. Revisions are included at no additional charge.
Q: What is your normal turnaround time?
Our standard turnaround is the next business day. For large, complex estimates, the time could be longer. If you have a large loss, please contact our estimating team for an expected turnaround time.
Q: Can you write from Matterport scans?
Absolutely.
Q: Can you write from Scope Sheets?
Yes. You can use your scope sheets, or you can use ours.
Q: How much do you charge for estimates?

Q: How long do Empire Points (Bonus Points) last?
Empire Points must be used within 12 months.
Q: How does billing work for estimating services?
The amount paid at checkout for any estimating project is only a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable. An additional deposit may be required for larger estimates.
Q: Can I use Empire Points towards the full estimate price?
Empire Points can be redeemed for deposits only.
Q: How can I cancel a membership subscription?
If you wish to cancel your membership, you must email support@empireestimators.com with your request. Cancellation requests made after renewal payments are processed will not be honored. Upon cancellation, any accrued Empire Points will be voided.
Q: Will you write our Xactimate estimates according to estimating guidelines set by Contractor Connection or other programs?
Yes. many of our estimators have worked closely with Contractor Connection and many other T.P.A.s so we can estimate according to their guidelines.
Q: Are your estimators certified?
Yes, our estimators hold a variety of certifications including NFIP, IICRC, HAAG, Xactware, and more.
Q: How do I order Xactimate Estimates?

Q: Will I receive the Xactimate Estimate ESX?
Yes. Once the final invoice is paid, you will be provided with the Xactimate ESX.

Yes, we will collaborate with you to define the scope on any loss you send us.
Q: Will Empire Estimators include my company logo and letterhead on their Xactimate estimates?
Yes. We are your ghost writers. All estimates will have your company information listed in the header.
Q: What is a scope?
A scope is a detailed breakdown of the work needed and activities required to complete a job. A scope will include a drawing with measurements, individual identification of the work to be performed, and quantities of materials or labor.
Q: Why should I write Xactimate Estimates?
If you’re an insurance restoration contractor, you should write Xactimate estimates because insurance adjusters use Xactimate, which makes it easier for you to (1) reach negotiated agreements with them and (2) maximize profits on insurance restoration projects.
